Focus on Uplifting


Are you in a rut with your content and increasing engagement? Try focusing in on uplifiting. What does your brand do or what can it do to uplift the audience. Your consumer will enjoy and engage if they are left feeling happy. Many big brands have started to try this with campaigns that combat hate, and campaigns about enjoying life etc. Although their efforts are altruistic they WORK!

As a small business you should be genuine in your efforts, so be careful when creating this content, your customer is no dummy, they will see through you if you are not genuine. With so much negativity in the world people need to feel happy and uplifted when engaging with their favorite brands.

Be genuine in your efforts. Find what uplifts you about your brand. This will most likely be a part of your mission, vision and value. Additionally, if you haven’t quite defined your mission, vision or value think about what excited you when you think of your brand. What is your WHY!! Why do you want to provide this service or product? This will jumpstart your Uplifting campaigns. Remember always put yourself in the customer’s shoes. Think about how what you write, do or say will affect them. Let them know you are here for them. If you are only in business to make money then chances are you will not survive. So as I always say BE USEFUL. In this case be HAPPY!
